Angie Seekamp, the owner of St. Hyacinth Custom Drapery, is a fourth-generation seamstress with a background in painting and fine arts, which inform her eye for color, proportion, and detail.

She specializes in couture European fabrication techniques, bringing an elevated level of craftsmanship to every project.

This combination of heritage, technical skill, and artistic training allows Angie to approach each piece with both precision and creativity, supporting the designer’s vision at the highest level.

Top Left - Angie with her mother Suzie, who first taught her handwork -from cross stitch and quilting to the precision of a perfectly formed French knot - laying the foundation for the hand-sewn techniques used in her work today.

Top right - Angie’s great-grandmother Hattie, a Polish immigrant, who who worked as a dressmaker from her home in Auburn, NY - establishing a lineage of skilled, detail-driven sewing that continues through Angie’s work today.

Bottom - Angie’s mother Suzie and grandmother Marie. Marie, who grew up in her mother’s sewing studio, became a talented apparel and window treatment seamstress. Angie spent much of her childhood beside her at her sewing machine - an early immersion in the techniques and standards that define her work today.
